In phobic people, it puts itself in a position of alert at the mention of air transport.

Note that apart from the need to travel via this mode of transport, anxieties do not appear.

For example, an accident or incident reported in the media often leaves travelers about to use this form of transportation in a state of stress and worry.

However, fear of the crash is not the only fear-causing factor.

A flight that would have gone badly, with turbulence, a difficult passenger, or even a lost or damaged suitcase, are all elements that may have marked the brain.

Emotions then reappear in the form of anxiety on subsequent trips.

Often, it is a specific point that carries all the anxieties felt: takeoff, landing, a smell, the proximity of other passengers ...

The fact of having to let oneself be carried away, without having the slightest control over the trip, is also a common cause of fear of flying.

Additionally, fear is sometimes coupled with another phobia.

Being locked in the cockpit for the duration of the flight can bring out claustrophobia, for example.

These courses have a limited number of places and are expensive.

Count several hundred euros for a day. This type of internship helps allay anxieties.

They contain a lot of explanations of how the airplane works, statistics, and sometimes even a flight simulator ...

But they are not a background treatment.

However, documenting yourself to understand how things work is an important step in the healing process.

It is reassuring to understand things, how they work, their reason.
