  • start with a deep breath (bring in a large amount of oxygen) by swelling your chest, then your stomach, then your ribs;
  • finally, you breathe out releasing oxygen through both nostrils.

Inhale again while controlling the oxygen as before, then exhale, but this time releasing all the air through one nostril, and in the last step you will do the same with the other nostril.

HATHA YOGA: free your breath

Perceived as the most complete discipline of yoga, HATHA YOGA is also the most popular of the techniques.

The main goal of this exercise is to work on your physical condition by increasing or restoring breath to your body.

Its practice encompasses a succession of phases of rhythmic breathing, relaxation and even meditation.

Intended for people of all ages, this discipline has the advantage of providing you with a certain vitality, flexibility in your limbs and balance in each of your movements.

Unlike PRANAYAMA which requires more concentration, HATHA YOGA is generally practiced with classical or modern dance movements (it all depends on your tastes).

There are several yoga techniques that can help you get your breath back.
